Personally I’m proud of myself as I have overcome lots of challenges during the Syrian war. As I had experienced moving out of my house, divorce, being a single mother and a student at the same time until I could graduate and currently being a working single mother to help raising my kids and finance his future, in parallel to continue achieving my dreams in inspiring other women and helping the society around. Being a Peace ambassador what will complement my skills and future thoughts. This will help me in building rich network with other people who had experienced the same suffering and to exchange our concerns and future plan to help in the redevelopment of the countries in the post war phase. One of my biggest motives to pursue my master’s degree in culture and religion and global justice, is the lack of practical humanities studies in our country; which is highly needed to rebuild the society in the current period of time. As a potential ambassador, I am going to use the skills of building and enriching professional networks in my experience such that to contextualize an international network of colleagues and professionals. Exposure to top-end academic and professional contexts that will be made possible because of joining a well-selected reputed organization is believed to sharpen my skills in building valuable networks and relationships. Such priceless experience in skills-building is transferrable to the Syrian context upon my return. I do believe that this is key for an influencer in the contexts that I will be operating in, and that is much need in my post-war county Syria. After more than 5 years of work experience in the humanitarian field, I believe I’m ready for the next step to achieve higher academic and career levels through attending a master’s program. Furthermore, since I was a teenager I’ve always wanted to influence others for work or study when I have the opportunity to. Therefore, I‘ve always worked hard and kept high level of ambitions despite the challenges I’ve been through. i always wanted to learn and explore their diverse culture and developed society.
