My name is Lubna Ahmed; I am the vice president of the Global Organization for the Family and Child Welfare and a coach for life skills and social innovation.
I work with adolescents and youth specially girls in the rural areas of Sudan where I help them to develop better self awareness and appreciation for life, gain skills for problem solving, critical and creative thinking, peace building and promoting harmonious living.
Such skills enable them to identify, take on and overcome the challenges in their communities and be more active and effective in their societies leading to strong community born initiatives and well informed leadership.
I am also a passionate and strong advocate for women empowerment, Gender Inequality, human rights and achieving the sustainable development goals for a prosperous future for all.
