Hi, my name is samia mwalongo. I am from tanzania. I am currently an international student at seneca college enrolled in social service worker immigrant and refugee diploma program and i am als going to continue with my bachelors in community mental health program. During my time at canada i was able to volunteer/intern at rexdale pathways to education where we deal with youtha from marginalised communities and provide a pathway to further education. We also provide counselling and workshops, trips and games. I am currently volunteering at my college’s mentorship program , i am one of the lead mentors. I work with students To help them through their transition to college and also provide resources that would make them successful in both their personal and academic life. I have been able to make connections with different people and help them to reach their goals while going through this unprecedented times
