Hello, my name is Ali Sina Yousofi and I’m from Afghanistan who resides in Australia. I come from Afghanistan where peace is a taboo, children yearn for peace. I lived in Pakistan Quetta for 4 years where I personally experienced the killing of my people. In February 16 2013 there was such a huge blast that killed over 100 people including many young school children. I was there and saw it all and to this day I’m still haunted. fast forward to June 30 2013 only four months later, another bombast happened in my area where my cousin who was 16 was killed. Everyone in Quetta wanted peace specially us Hazara people. as we are discriminated so much in Afghanistan and Pakistan. the motto of the terrorists who kill only our people are ‘if you kill a Hazara, you will go heaven’. recently the bombasts in Kabul has broken me as students in school and universities are being targeted and killed. they are killed because they want education, to learn. I am only 18 years old now and I can’t stand the little no media coverage of my people, the bombasts in Afghanistan, the killing of my people and its time for me to make changes. with this opportunity I hope to create change and raise awareness about my people to the UN and charities for the victims who are going through unimaginable pain.
