I’m a young peace builder who gave awareness about peace and conflicts based on ‘Diversity’. My vision of the main problem of conflicts and injustice is that because we don’t see the conflicts as neutral but we see the diversity as the conflict. As for me, I don’t think we could make conflicts not to become but we can value everyone’s diversity and try not to become more conflicts. As we are facing conflicts even ourselves like what to wear to go out for a picnic. So as a peace builder, I value diversity and always give awareness why should everyone value diversity and diversity is not the conflict. Now, I’m working as a peace ambassador of my university and working together with other peace ambassadors to give peace and awareness in our university. Also, I’m working as ambassador in many non-profit organizations like Giving Way. As an ambassador, I always have to find ways to make collaboration to make our process better. Now, I have already brought two collaborations successfully done for two organizations that I’m currently working. Besides as an ambassador and peace builder, I also love teaching kids so I work as a volunteer in kidiscite to teach English. Now, It has been a year working as a peace builder but everyday I have to learn more values about peace to share my community back. In my country, the role of youth peace builders is very important because my country, Myanmar, is now facing the longest civil war in the world and my country is in the process of democratization. So everytime I make workshops or projects, I have to give awareness about Democracy and Federalism at the same time in my knowledge. Because I believe a youth is the best educator for a youth to educate. Now I had founded the non-profit organization Myanmar New Generation Academy with my friends and working as the project director. Myanmar New Generation Academy is a not for-profit organization which promotes and uplifts teaching and learning opportunities in English Language Skills and Skills Development for young people and entire community at large. Our MNGA’s Debate Competition’s main goal is to improve youth’s public speaking skills by debating.
