I am Amissa Ntakirutimana. I was born in union of Mr. and Mrs. Ntakirutimana. I was born on the 19th day of December. I graduated from the Lycée du Lac Tanganyika, Burundi. I also attended the King David Academy, Kigali, Rwanda. I served as the second elected speaker of Girls Voice of my institution and an adviser to the president of the elected student council government 2015. I served as an Ambassador of the World Youth International Model United Nations. London. I am currently a nursing student at the Çukurova University Adana, Turkey. I am a student with the understanding of four languages English, French, Swahili, and Turkish. I have been a youth advocates since high school and I wish to continue my advocacy for young people most especially women and I want to become a women rights advocate. “Instead, my aim is to represent the intelligence, creativity, complexity and diversity of girls’ experience across nations, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, economic background. It is up to those who identify with being a girl to break the boundaries and determine their own identity, sexuality, and beauty.
