Talha Ehsan is a Global Peace Chain Ambassador whose work advances youth-led initiatives at the intersection of sustainability, responsible finance, and technology, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). His focus is on leveraging technology innovation and capital to promote long-term peace, inclusive development, and climate resilience. He first came to the United States in 2018 as a participant in the U.S. Department of State sponsored program, serving as Pakistan’s Youth Cultural Ambassador and gaining early experience in international collaboration and cross-cultural diplomacy.

He is a graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South, where he earned degree in Computer Science and Business, and graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors, the oldest and most prestigious academic honor society in the United States.

Since joining Global Peace Chain in 2020, Talha has represented the organization at international conferences in Malaysia, Turkey, and New York, hosting and coordinating global peace initiatives with participants from over 70 countries. He has also participated in dialogues at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, contributing to discussions on youth leadership, sustainable development, conflict resolutions, and multilateral cooperation.

Previously, Talha has worked as an investment banker with Nomura Greentech on Wall Street, supporting M&A and strategic advisory transactions in green technology and renewable energy. He currently works at Ernst & Young (EY) in Technology Consulting, focusing on the governance, resilience, and responsible deployment of emerging technologies.

Through his multidisciplinary experience in global advocacy, finance, and technology, Talha is dedicated to fostering youth-led initiatives and international partnerships, including collaborations between the United States and Pakistan, to address global challenges. He focuses on leveraging innovation, responsible investment, and emerging technologies to create scalable solutions that advance the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and promote a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable future worldwide.
