Arvhie Santos is a Cum Laude liberal arts graduate of University of Santo Tomas, Manila, with a specialization in philosophy. She also obtained a certification on Japanese Language and Culture from Hijiyama University, Japan. She was an alumna of Asia Pacific Youth Exchange – Philippines (APYExPH) as well as a member of Southeast Asian Leaders’ Organization (SEALO). She became the Philippine’s representative in various conventions in Asia such as The International Academic Forum (IAFOR): The Asian Conference on the Social Sciences in Kobe, Japan and The CIMB Young ASEAN Leaders in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Arvhie is an ardent advocate of democracy, peace, human rights, social justice and sustainability. For almost six years, she has always been active in youth empowerment and leadership development. Her humanitarian affairs include conducting community development initiatives and cultural immersions in urban poor communities as well as in rural areas around her country.

In the present, Arvhie is the National Director of Education and Research under the Youth for Human Rights and Democracy (Y4HRD) — a Philippine-based NGO that defends the human rights of the Filipinos and champions democratic values. Arvhie conducts research and educational trainings on human rights and other related themes. She is also the current National Director of Training and Development under Samahan ng mga Kabataang Boluntaryo ng Pilipinas (SKBP)– a youth-led organization in the Philippines that promotes nation-building through volunteerism. She holds capacity-building workshops that equip the Filipino youth with the competencies to advance the Sustainable Development Goals.
