As someone who has the privilege of being the majority in my country, I always stand to support the minority and marginalized communities. I am Tama and I have an avid interest in human rights discussion, gender studies, as well as peace and development issues. I always believe in deliberation as an approach to protect human rights. As someone is continuously exposed to the idea and discourse, people will finally understand that equality will not rob anything they have. In fact their privilege is the result of taking another people’s right. So for me, helping others, especially minorities, is not a voluntary work, it is a responsibility.
