I believe that every human in the world has a passion, even if they are yet to discover it. But it is the art of discovering that passion, igniting the flame that is the most crucial. Helping to make the world a better place is mine.

It was a gruelling 18-hour car journey that motivated me to help change the world. Driving from the United Kingdom to Spain wasn’t the first on my list as an 8 year old, but without it I wouldn’t be here today, working tirelessly towards ambitious goals, inspiring those around me and trying to make the world a better place.

Going in and out of wakefulness at the high altitudes of the Pryenees mountains, it was the first time a mountain had towered over my being. In this very moment, I realised there was more to me than just an 8 year old imagination but a whole world waiting for me to explore, and even shape.

Fast forward 12 years, not only did I migrate to Australia alone but I also spent my entire teenage years reading Geography, Philosophy and Science, eventually concluding that I wanted to follow through with humanitarianism- that i will be studying next year. Meanwhile, every waking hour is an opportunity for me to help this planet, whether it be to connect with others through a positive community I co-ordinate, reading global affairs or volunteering with the likes of the United Nations and Save the children.

These experiences have brought peace to me, but my wish is to diffuse this burning passion of helping to make the world a more positive place.
