I’m Kenneth Roy V. Aranas, a teacher, mental health advocate, and community leader from the Philippines. I am a proud practitioner of Psychology in education, I actively help train students, teachers, and community leaders to better understand mental health. I am Vice Chairperson for the Youth for Mental Health Coalition, Inc., an NGO eyeing for a stigma-free Philippines. I’ve also been an active member of the Boy Scouts of America, earning numerous awards in leadership, community service, and youth development.
I’ve help lead projects in youth leadership, mental health, and digital literacy across various organizations. I am currently working on projects for creating mental health-friendly campuses and raising awareness on SDGs through forums and active volunteerism. I am an active researcher in the fields of motivation, sports and educational psychology, and multicultural mental health.
