Nazia Noory is a student of Master’s Degree in International Relations at Kardan University, Majoring in peacebuilding and Diplomacy. She has received her bachelor’s degree in Islamic Law from Kabul University. She has obtained a Diploma in Management and Leadership from Oruj Intstitute of higher education and a certificate in Business Administration from the American University of Afghanistan. She has worked with many national and international organizations in different roles. Currently, she is working in Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GIZ GmbH as an officer for the National Representatives Committee of Afghanistan (NRCA).
She is the volunteer part of the many youth and women lead organization working for peace, youth development, women empowerment, education and SDGs Goals. She is the executive board member of the Afghan women Alliance for Development (AWAD) and Women initiatives for sustainable energy (WISE). In both organizations, she has a significant roles in empowering women.
She had participated in several national and international youth programs, MUNs, Book clubs, Trainings, conferences and forums like TEDx Kabul, AIESEC, AlPHA AF, UNWomen, Internet society etc. She is an advocate for a multi-sectoral approach engaging business, technology and education to achieving peace and gender equality, Nazia was shortlisted for the #CodeForPeace Initiative by UN Women Afghanistan in 2018. In 2019, She was nominated for the UNDP’s N-Peace Award
