Zambia

My names are Musendeka Ntanda, 23 years old and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) at Cavendish University Zambia. While I have a comprehensive legal background, my emphasis is on Human Rights law.

After my graduation from high school, the age of 19, I developed the interest to make myself useful to my community. I began offering free tutorial lessons at a community school called Nahumba Primary School in Choma.

After my admission to Cavendish University, I got exposed to community service which included among other things; visiting children’s homes under the auspices of the Visionary Students founder Mr. Matthews Lungu of Lusaka, Zambia.

I chose to study the law because of my willingness to serve my community by been a tool used to ensure justice. In 2019, I led the Cavendish University team that participated in the Nuremberg International Moot Court Competition. Though we did not take the first position, we made our arguments good enough to come out 8th position out of the 70 teams that participated.

Throughout my study at Cavendish University, I have taken interest in tutoring first year law students as well as Paralegal students as a way of giving back to my university and Consolidating my knowledge of the law.
