Beatriz is a current student of a MA in Human Rights and Multi-Level Governance at the University of Padova. Her main interests are in women’s human rights, Peace and security and sexual and reproductive rights.

Thanks to more than 5 years of volunteer work, she is recognized as a transforming agent from a very young age. In her community she is a “popular legal promoter”, a instructing women with legal knowledge and empowerment to spread it within our communities. Realizing that she could create more impact, after being elected substitute tutelary counselor, through municipal elections in Brazil, to ensure the realization of the rights of children and adolescents, she moved towards a global vision on human rights, Merit360, where, along with 359 other young leaders from around the world, she has developed her skills in creating global and local projects on the SDG 5: Gender Equality. Now being member of the Youact European youth organization, she is also advocating for youth sexual and reproductive health and rights.
