Graduated as Bachelors of Law, LL.B honors degree with specialized subjects in in Human Rights law and versatile Attorney at Law with widespread academic background and professional practice more than three years as a Pro Bona Lawyer and Legal Advisor for rights based Non-Governmental Organization. Passion towards promote and protect of women and child rights and eagerly doing peace work in my home town, Puttalam which is one of the well-known places of rehabilitation for displaced people from northern part of Sri Lanka due to Civil war in last three decades. Since 2010 as a volunteer of several NGO’s and civil society organization I contribute to provide legal assistance for vulnerable community and several victims of war and fights against gender base violence and conduct awareness program on sexual gender base violence and inequality between communities . As a lawyer for the vulnerable community to provide them free legal aid, legal assistance especially for the women and children, from where I became more motivated and indented to provide personal contribution to process of sustainable development goals and advocate peace in communities to counter extreme violence and all forms of discrimination, humanitarian action and conflict.
