Sayed Najam Ul Hassan Hamdani

Pakistan

I have participated on multiple forums regarding youth and human rights. I am working with Amnesty International voluntarily to highlight the
Human rights violations world over. I am a Youth Peace ambassador for human rights in Pakistan. I am also a general member of Pakistan International Human Rights organization. We have worked and prepared reports against increasing child abuse in Kasur. We launched a movement for awareness against child abuse. I am senior ambassador and researcher of Harvard University in Pakistan and got appreciation letter on my performance from Harvard University in their project of Partition Stories of 1947. I collected 20 stories of 20 different families who migrated from India to Pakistan and noted down all atrocities.
Future Goals
My future goal is to establish an effective human rights forum in Pakistan in order to protect deserving people, who are in need of social protection and justice. The forum will recruit volunteers for this purpose.
We aim to provide free legal assistance, financial support and lobbing on state level to favour those who are victim of direct human rights breach. We will force and build up the consensus with national curriculum authority to introduce human rights rules regulations in school and college level syllabus.
We will conduct human rights awareness seminars and conferences free of cost to increase the awareness of people about Human Rights. Also, build up a pressure group for strict implementation of punishments on accused of minority and human rights.
We will make sure to implement all these plans in up-coming ten years.
Greatest Challenge
My greatest challenge is to prevent every kind human rights violation in my domain. As everyone knows about the distressing situation of Human rights in Pakistan, it is only by making efforts to prevent human rights violation, we can have peace in our society. Given the right opportunity, we can eradicate human rights violations like religious extremism, women torture and child abuse etc. Our biggest challenge is to push the authorities to implement United Nation’s universal declaration about Human rights 1946.I would really wish to pursue the field of Human rights in my future career as it provides me mental and moral satisfaction to serve those who are in trouble.
Skills
I have multiple skills and talents but to lead my people is one of my finest skill and talent. Over the years, through various experiences, I have been able to gain better confidence over this.
As everyone knows practice makes a man perfect, I would like to learn more and perfect my skills through various opportunities – particularly in the domain of leadership. To be a leader one should have qualities honesty, integrity, faithfulness, commitment and patience. Through various challenges I have been able to exhibit these qualities.
“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. My passion for leadership has helped me enhance my communications skills.
I have my excellent experience in this field that would really help me to secure my future as a human rights activist.
I have my good profile and experience on national level but limited international experience regarding this field is still required. I really want to build-up my international experience and learn from international community. This is very important not just to serve my society but also to work at the same pace with the international human rights activists.
