My name is Thomas Emad Gergis, an Egyptian intern doctor from Sohag and a youth advocate passionate about dialogue, service, and global cooperation. I am a Stevens Initiative Alumni Fellow and was reselected in 2026 as a mentor, supporting intercultural exchange among youth worldwide. Through Soliya Global Circles and fellowship workshops in Morocco, I engaged in meaningful dialogue on identity, peace, and cross-cultural understanding.

Locally, I am active with IFMSA-Egypt through the Sohag Medical Students’ Association, contributing to health awareness and community projects. One of the most meaningful was Village 2022, where our team provided medical services and awareness in a remote village with limited access to care. I also served as Head of Media & Publications for the 3rd National General Assembly for medical students in Egypt, and I have volunteered in my church community since childhood, helping organize activities for children and supporting elderly members.
