Ms. Somia Djacta is an advisor and senior diplomat working with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO). She serves as Head of ICESCO’s Regional Office and Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, and the OECD, focusing on developing strategic international cooperation to support Sustainable Development Goals. She has a strong academic background in sociology and political sociology and has also worked at UNESCO on culture and social sciences.
