Khalid Daud is an Entrepreneurship Development and Youth Economic Empowerment Specialist with over 10 years of experience promoting inclusive economic growth and peace through entrepreneurship. He is the Founder of KAABA Services Management and Co-founder of Hira Construction and Land Surveying, contributing to job creation and private sector development. Khalid has led startup incubation and SME support programs that empowered thousands of young people with skills and sustainable livelihoods. He has worked with organizations including HiiL Innovation Hub–East Africa, Spark International, VC4Africa, Innovate Ventures, and Saytuun Sustainable Investments. He is a Co-founder of the SMART Youth Leadership Council (SYLC) and a member of the Somaliland Alternative Policy Academy (SAPA). Khalid believes youth innovation and economic empowerment are key drivers of lasting peace and social stability.
