From the gentle tides of Terengganu to the vast horizons of the open sea, Hemaa Loshini Saravanan has charted a journey that blends maritime excellence with a heart for humanity. A young Malaysian visionary and the President of the Seafarer Club 2025/2026 at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), Hemaa is not only training to become a ship navigator but also steering her generation toward sustainability, equality, and peace.

Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Nautical Science and Maritime Transportation (Honors) with a CGPA of 3.79, Hema embodies the discipline, resilience, and courage of a seafarer. Her academic background, strengthened by a Foundation in STEM (CGPA 3.97), showcases her consistent commitment to excellence and innovation. However, Hema’s story extends far beyond classrooms and navigation charts it’s the story of a young woman determined to connect people and purpose, anchored in empathy and global unity.
