Hello. I hail from the North West region of Cameroon, precisely from Awing village in the Santa subdivision. Since March 2020, after witnessing the passing away of my father, I decided to actively involve myself with the community in order to raise health concerns concern particularly for those suffering from early cancer in my community. On doing so, I was constantly getting exposed to the on-going crisis in the northwest region of Cameroon which had transformed the landscape and population demographics of Awing village. With almost no way out of the conflict, the community have been plagued with constant battles between the army and those that termed themselves Ambazonians. The army have been persecuting the population for not divulging their hideout with the other fighters often burned houses claiming the population cooperated with the army hence I have been trying my best in serving as translator and mediator when need arises.
