S.M. Minhazur Rahman is a strategic communications professional with a strong background in media, corporate affairs, and team leadership. He is widely recognized for strengthening brand visibility through innovative public relations and integrated communications strategies. Alongside his professional career, he is also a peacebuilder, communicator, and a youth leader, committed to empowering voices and promoting harmony.
He currently serves as the Head of Communications at Media Stream, a USA-based research organization, where he leads branding, public relations, and integrated messaging initiatives, while also overseeing operational coordination. Prior to this, he served as the Head of Media & Communications at Naria Group. He has also served as the Head of Corporate Affairs at another corporate organization and contributed to several renowned institutions, establishing himself as a successful corporate leader.
Beyond his corporate leadership, Minhaz is deeply committed to volunteer and social work. As the Country Ambassador of the UNESCO World Heritage Program, he worked to promote awareness and conservation of World Heritage sites, engaging local communities through outreach and educational programmes and highlighting the role of heritage in national identity and cultural exchange.
Prior to this, he served as a Child Reporter at the UNICEF Mass Media Center, reporting on child labour rights and contributing articles and photographs for UNICEF reports as well as national daily newspapers.
At the invitation of India’s Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, he participated in the World Heritage Conference 2018, where he received the Best Delegate Award. He also took part as a delegate in the Bangladesh Youth Parliament and the European Union’s Youth Journalism and Human Rights Camp.
His work has been recognized with many awards, including the South Asian Business Excellence Award- 2025 for Excellence in Strategic Communication, Best Delegate Award 2018 from the UNESCO World Heritage Conference, Best Child Labor Report Award-2010 from UNICEF, Best Speaker Award 2010 from Bangladesh Debate Federation and the European Union Youth Journalism Award 2009.
He has also earned national and international media recognition through coverage in national and international newspapers and television programs, which have highlighted his work across diverse platforms.
