I am currently an Associate Professor at environmental Science Depart., Arish University, Egypt. I have a considerable research experience in Environmental Science. I was graduated in biology from Zagazig University of Egypt in 2003, then received my M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences from Suez Canal University, Egypt in 2008. I received my Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from Northwest A&F University, China in 2012, then returned to work at department of Environmental Science, Institute of Environmental Studies, Arish University, Egypt. During my Ph.D. study, I have been awarded the best SCI publications among all international students issued by College of International Education, Northwest A&F University in 2011 and 2012. I have spared no effort in introducing China to Egyptian students and young scholars to study in China and also expand collaborative research between the two countries.
In 2013 got a fellowship from Europe Union to work at Italian Research Council as a Visiting Scholar. In 2014 was selected by Ministry of Science and Technology of China and recommended by Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Talent Young Scientist position at the Key Laboratory of Biogeography and Bioresource in Arid Land, Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Urumqi, China for 2 years. In 2016 i conducted my first postdoctoral research at the Key Laboratory of Biogeography and Bioresource in Arid Land, Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Urumqi, China. In 2016 I invited by Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to give speeches on behalf of Talent Young Egyptian Scientist to Miss Liu Yandong the vice prime minister of China during her official visit to Egypt. In 2017 was recommended by Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) to represented Foreign Talent Young Scientist in the opening ceremony of One Belt One Road for international cooperation under auspices of excellency president Xi Jinping and also invited to World Youth Form under auspices of excellency Egyptian president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi represented Egyptian Talent Young Scientist in China and recommended by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. I have been interviewed by CCTV twice, Xinjiang TV twice, and also many newspapers.
My research is directed towards an understanding of the structural and functional organization of beneficial plant-associated microbial communities associated with Medicinal Plant in arid land and study of plant-microbe interactions in environmental stressed conditions and their potential to improve crop production and Biocontrol of fungal disease. To date, in my 8 years of collaboration with Chinese young scientist, I have been published more than 39 SCI scientific articles, one book, and one book chapter. My published paper cited by more than 232 and his h-index reach to 10 according to Scopus. I have been appointed as reviewers for over 6 SCI journals. For my best academic achievements, I received numerous fellowship and awards including President International Fellowship (PIFI) and Talent Young Scientist (TYSP). In 2018 I have been awarded as the excellent foreign export of Xinjiang branch, Chinese Academy of Science and also awarded Honor Certificate to his great contribution to One Belt One Road initiative. In 2019 I have been awarded Chinese Academy of Science International Cooperation Award for Talent Young Scientist by the president of Chinese Academy of Science.
Throughout my scientific career, I have joined several research projects as a principal investigator or co-principal investigator, my responsibilities included the preparation, conduct, and administration of a research grant. I have also given many seminars at departmental, national and international conferences which have given me excellent verbal communications skills. I also have a reasonable number of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
