Amina umuhoza is a young passionate lady of 22 years old from Rwanda. She is a CEO of SAYE company
ltd that has dukataze project with an aim to empower girls mentally, socially and economically so as to fight the unwanted pregnancies in young Rwandan girls, apart from doing business she likes arts and she is a poet from the age of 11, she has won plenty local poetry awards including Kigali vibrate with poetry, AEGIS trust school competition, and in 2015 she participated in a global campaign entitled as girls for president where she was representing Rwandan girls, in 2018 she also won the competition organized by Africa democracy forum on Africa continent level. Due to her passion she believes in art as a powerful tool towards positively changing the mindset of people and this is why she has created isoko performing arts group in 2016, which is a group of young talented youth who decided to use arts for promoting the principles of human rights, principles of democracy and women and youth empowerment, this group is affiliated to never again Rwanda. Amina’s leadership skills didn’t take a long to appear because She started leading when she was a student at fawe girl ‘school where she was the school entertainment prefect, Vice president of good governance club and the vice president of never again club. In 2012 she has been the reporter of national children summit of Rwanda where she has been voted by her fellow children. Amina Umuhoza has attended plenty conferences and summits in united states of America, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia and Rwanda and all the skills she got are being used to invest in her fellow young generation.
