Global Peace Summit Ukraine 2019

Global Peace Summit Ukraine 2019 brought together young visionaries and experts to discuss peace through the lens of conflict resolution. With Ukraine’s geopolitical landscape as a living case study, sessions delved into the ongoing Donbas conflict, examining how youth, women, and diplomats play distinct yet interconnected roles in resolving such crises. Moreover, participants shared their own community-driven social projects, highlighting grassroots models of peace building. Interactive activities, cultural representation sessions, and personal storytelling created space for genuine connection and respect among diverse backgrounds. A strong emphasis was placed on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the ways youth can contribute to its real-world implementation. The summit also offered a critical look at how tools like diplomacy, tourism, and digital media influence international dynamics, either fuelling divisions or bridging them. By the end, the event stood as a hub for collaborative innovation, equipping young participants to develop conflict resolution strategies rooted in empathy and inclusivity.
