My name is Zhanel Assylbayeva, I am 17 years old. I am a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan. I live in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana.
I plan to enroll in a university for international relations and diplomacy. I want to develop in this field on an international level and gain experience that will serve as a foundation for my future professional activities.

The projects I will undertake align with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as “Quality Education” (SDG 4), “Gender Equality” (SDG 5), “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure” (SDG 9), and “Reduced Inequality” (SDG 10). Additionally, I’ll focus on leadership development among teenagers.

I began my comprehensive development at the age of 13, taking various educational courses and engaging in activities like swimming, crafting, songwriting, piano playing, drawing, and cooking in my free time.

Besides mastering English, I’m currently learning French, Spanish, and Italian, applying these skills in daily life. One notable experience is successfully implementing a social project during the COVID-19 pandemic at the age of 14, providing support to teenagers in challenging situations through creative workshops.

Teaching sewing skills, the project empowered teenagers to create handmade items as gifts. I demonstrated initiative, responsibility, and creativity, significantly supporting teens from large families. The project had a positive impact on participants’ psychological well-being.

Aspiring to be a Global Peace Ambassador with GLOBAL PEACE CHAIN, I believe this role will broaden my perspective and contribute to becoming an effective and informed youth leader in the near future.
