Mr. Prem Singh Gill was born in Bangkok, a third-generation Sikh young man. From an early age,
his life was exposed to a multicultural society and as he grew up, he was first sent to Mussoorie
(India) and later to Chandigarh (India) for education till grade nine. Mr. Gill is an educator,
researcher and a politician of Thailand. He holds B.A. in Indian Studies combined with further
studies in law (LL.B) at Thammasat University. Currently, he is running as a candidate to be
elected as a Member of Parliament under the constituency of People Reform Party. Mr. Gill is
specialized in Democracy, Human rights, Criminal law and Constitutional law of the region South
Asia. Furthermore, his on-going research article titled “Role of Indian Judiciary toward Human
Trafficking”, which will be published by February 2019. In addition, Mr. Gill’s vision is quite bold
and straightforward together with his principles and philosophical perspective of what it takes to
be treated well-respected human.
On his working experiences, he has volunteered and hired by different firms and institutions. But
what exactly Mr. Gill is thriving is lecturing in Suankularb Wittayalai Thonburi School (Thai
Oldest-Governmental High School). He teaches Law, ASEAN and Economics to Grade 10 and
Grade 12. Finally, Mr. Gill has plans to go for his further studies at a highly reputed and populous
college/institutions after gaining solid experiences from his tri-involvement.
