Felipe Soares is a Law Graduate of Universidade Oriental Timor Lorosa’é of Timor Leste veteran university. He is a dynamic and hard-working in the area of human rights advocacy, gender equality and violence based gender, positive discipline, child protection, disability/social inclusion and community engagement issues, with training facilitation skill.
Currently work as Safeguard and Gender consultant of World Bank Group project that work with Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of Republic Democratic of Timor Leste. On this position was give the responsibility to train 1500 woman and youth groups gradually and to supervise the partner organization to implement some component of the sustainability project that implemented in some target watershed area in several municipality, such as: Lautem, Ainaro, Covalima, Bobonaro, RAEOA, Likisa and Ermera since 2016-2022. He have been successfully as a motivator in advocacy, developed, and supported various development program as well as: Helped accomplish research in “East Timor Mental Health Epidemiological Needs Survey (ETMHENS2) with University of New South Wales, Australia, Helped Focusing Discussion Group of national networking group on Social Inclusion issues with Timor Leste National Commission to UNESCO. Also Helped Peace Campaign During National Election with CRS (Catholic Relief Service) Dili as facilitator of seminar, in the municipality of Aileu, Ainaro, Dili, Ermera, Manufahi and Oecusse.
He also passionate with the Community Base Disaster Risk Management project that focus on disaster risk reduction campaign to young generation to be aware with and adaptable with climate change, call for mitigation and prevention of disaster to minimize the causes of disaster that affect people life.
The last Felipe is gregarious and multitalented he can handle all he can do and easy to work in a team.
