Bobby McCaully Flomo is a final year mass communication student, at the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) in Monrovia, Liberia. He is currently an account executive at Family Choice Business Center, and an administrative assistant to Montserrado County, District #13 representative elect Hon. Edward Papay Flomo at the House of Representative, Republic of Liberia.
He served as a campus direction at AME University, on the Millennium Campus Network (MCN) and United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) project. As a member of the Millennium Fellowship Class of 2018, an ambitious program to help make the Sustainable Development Goals and UNAI principles a reality, he participating in a semester long leadership development program to improve student organizing, partnership building and community impact skills.
Bobby is the founder of the Tree Program – a self initiative that encourages students, Individuals, Institutions, and government to grow more trees and contribute to the fight against Climate change and deforestation in district #13. He is presently a communication volunteer at iRespect – a creative peace platform established out of the rumble of conflict to promote tribal, cross-cultural and mutual understandings and cooperation among youth and children.
As a young leader, he refuse to be comforted with the levels of work that’s being done to improve education, peace, security and sustainable development in his country. He recently founded two projects:
The One night 4 One Child Project – another creative projects that aim to break the education gap and huge educational disparity among children in his community.
The Big Study Class – an adult literacy and numeracy program that provide after work study class for adult in his community.
He’s a member of world youth Alliance, YALI network, Impart-Liberia, International Youth conference, and others well meaning youth organizations that promote peace, security and sustainable development.
